Tips to choose your bridal accessories and makeup to be a modern bride

“ The photographer Aubrey Westlund, makeup artist Lindsey Jones and myself, had the desire and the idea to create an inspirational shoot shot around the accessory and the beauty of the bride. 

We were inspired by french efforlessly chic and timeless style. a graphic modern twist and a pop of pink. 

Hair accessories or crowns are a huge trend right now for brides. They can really add an element of style and can Complete a look.  

Verbena Madrid makes gorgeous handmade crowns in Spain. They are made out of Raffia and embroidered beads. There crowns give a beautiful silouette, and is an alternative to a flower crown. 

Mignonne Handmade are  hand-painted brass combs by Jennifer, an American artist living in France.  The retro vibe combined with the  beauty of hand-painted flowers gives a slightly bohemian and ultra feminine look. 

The Jewels Monsieur Paris is a new line that we have started to carry  this season.  My engagement ring was made by this designer and I am a huge fan. The delicate and fine details of their gold jewelry mis ade by hand in Paris. These rings ass a final touch of elegance and femininity to the style of our dresses.”

“ It’s easy to add a high fashion element to your makeup look on your wedding day.  Add one graphic detail and keep the rest of the look soft. As the makeup artist for this shoot I was inspired by french simplicity and California in the 60’s …”

I did a graphic and modern, but natural eyeliner on Emily, our model, and paired it with a soft pink lip. The retro vibes of the eyeliner really go well with the Mignonne Handmade Hair comb.  They add a high fashion and very stylish element, without making her look overdone.
